SurfacePro Epoxy Flooring Inc. (“SurfacePro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) stands behind the quality of our workmanship. This Limited Warranty outlines what is covered, what is not covered, and the responsibilities of the property owner.

This warranty applies only to epoxy flooring systems installed directly by SurfacePro Epoxy Flooring Inc.

1. Warranty Coverage

SurfacePro Epoxy Flooring Inc. provides a 10-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty from the date of installation.

​

This warranty covers:

✔ Adhesion failure of the epoxy coating caused by improper surface preparation or incorrect installation
✔ Peeling, delamination, or lifting resulting from installation defects
✔ Premature coating failure directly caused by SurfacePro’s workmanship
✔ Defects in application of basecoat, broadcast system, or topcoat performed by our in-house team

If a covered defect occurs, SurfacePro will repair or recoat the affected area at no labor cost to the client.

2. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover issues caused by factors outside of SurfacePro’s control. Exclusions include, but are not limited to:

Normal Wear & Use

• Scratches, scuffs, or surface dulling from regular foot or vehicle traffic

• Tire marks, abrasion, or cosmetic wear

• Loss of gloss over time

​

Improper Use or Abuse

• Damage from dragging heavy or sharp objects

• Impact damage, gouging, or mechanical abuse

• Use of the floor outside its intended purpose

​

Moisture & Structural Issues

• Moisture vapor transmission from the concrete slab

• Hydrostatic pressure

• Foundation movement, cracking, or shifting

• Structural settling or building movement

​

Chemical & Environmental Damage

• Harsh chemical spills not cleaned promptly

• Staining from oils, solvents, acids, or corrosive substances

• Damage from extreme heat, fire, or UV exposure

​

Color & Appearance

• Color fading, yellowing, or shade variation over time

• Dye lot variations or batch differences

• Changes in appearance due to lighting or environmental exposure

​

Customer or Third-Party Actions

• Damage caused by other contractors

• Alterations, repairs, or coatings applied by others

• Improper cleaning methods or use of non-approved cleaners
   

3. Hairline Cracks & Concrete Movement

Concrete is a natural material that expands, contracts, and may crack over time.
This warranty does not cover:

• Hairline cracks that appear after installation

• New cracks due to slab movement or settling

• Expansion joint movement

SurfacePro is not responsible for structural or substrate-related movement.

4. Owner Responsibilities

To keep the warranty valid, the property owner must:

✔ Clean spills promptly
✔ Use non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaning products
✔ Avoid metal blades, chains, or grinding tools on the surface
✔ Install protective pads under heavy equipment when applicable

Failure to follow reasonable maintenance practices may void this warranty.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim:

1. Notify SurfacePro in writing within 30 days of noticing the issue

2. Provide photos and a description of the problem

3. Allow SurfacePro reasonable access to inspect the floor

SurfacePro reserves the right to determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.

6. Repair Limitations

If a defect is covered:

• SurfacePro will repair or recoat the affected area only

• Exact color or texture match to the original installation is not guaranteed

• Repairs do not extend the original warranty period

7. Non-Transferable

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable to future property owners.

8. Limitation of Liability

SurfacePro Epoxy Flooring Inc. is not responsible for:

• Loss of use of the space

• Business interruption

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

This warranty is limited strictly to the repair of defective workmanship.

9. No Other Warranties

This Limited Warranty replaces all other expressed or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
